Meaningful Mindfulness Yoga Retreat This past weekend, Quantum Leaps was blessed again with the presence of Yoga Instructor and Life Coach Tracy Delfs, facilitating the Mindfulness Yoga Retreat. What a powerful weekend it was! Thank you to all the participants for coming out to Quantum Leaps and joining the journey. I was full of gratitude for being able to participate in this amazing weekend. There was an abundance of stimulating yoga classes and thought provoking dharma sessions (talking circles) around the power of conscious Mindfulness and how it serves us vitally in our lives. Tracey has spent a lot of time in the presence of the master of Mindfulness (or could we say Heartfulness?) Tich Nhat Hanh and her teachings really show her depth of experience. We had the opportunity to be in silence for one Lunch. This taught us to eat more "mindfully" and slowly, absorbing the nutrients of the delicious food we were eating. We were also immersed in Nature by taking a beautiful rafting trip on the Blaeberry River and doing an amazing hike to breathtaking Thompson Falls. “Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life." Thich Nhat Hanh ps. Our friend Tom is here for a month as a Volunteer. He is seeing Quantum Leaps with new eyes right now (last time he was here was 4 years ago). He compiled the following list for he exclaims that we are still flying under the radar....... Why Quantum Leaps? Who could use Quantum Leaps?
