Nicole DuVent
Nicole Du Vent is a professional chef and baker whose passion for fresh food began at an early age growing up on an orchard in the Okanagan Valley. Nicole began working in restaurants at 14, attended Culinary Arts school in 2000 and completed her Red Seal as a Chef in 2004. Around the same time she began branching out from her Classical French training into baking and vegetarian cooking, her two passions. Her love for travel and different cuisines has taken her across the Rockies, into the Wineries and to far off places like Thailand, Jamaica and Costa Rica where she worked as a Raw Food Chef.
“My passion for food began young helping my mom prepare and preserve foods fresh from the garden. Iʼve stayed true to my roots, I aim to prepare healthy, garden fresh meals bursting with flavor and vitality. My work at Quantum Leaps Lodge is a joy! Annette and I share the same vision: to make beautiful, fresh and healthy food, to nourish people inside and out.”
